Hakim Ludin

Hakim Ludin completed his studies at the University of Music Karlsruhe. As a drummer and percussionist, he has been touring with Konstantin Wecker since 2006 and is a welcome guest at many international festivals. He has performed with well-known drum artists such as Luis Conte, Terry Bozzio and Steve Smith.
Since 1998 he is a member of the ensemble ZARBANG performing at concerts and workshops in Germany and abroad. As a guest lecturer, he regularly participates in international drum camps (such as in Warsaw in 2008/09 and Luxemburg in 2009). He has been artistic director of the internationally renowned Rhythms Seminar in Marktoberdorf, Bavaria, since 1996.
He readily shares his experience, as he does, for instance, within the framework of his own DVD series “modern percussionist” focussing on kanjira, framedrum, cajon, bongos and congas.
