
The South Tyrolean percussionist and theatre scientist Vera Pitarelli graduated from DAMS (Drama, Art & Music Studies) at the University of Bologna (Italy). She studied Afro-Brazilian, Afro-Cuban and West African percussion with renowned masters of the trade such as Mamady Keita, Famoudou Konaté, Fadouba Oularé and Baba Touré.
She has gathered practical experience working for the theater and television, has participated in international festivals like Umbria Jazz, Porretta Soul Festival and South Tyrol Jazz Festival and has cooperated with such great artists as Jeff Berlin, Mario Bioni, Antonio Albanese, Loredana Errore, Nick The Nightfly, Montefiori Cocktail, Teo Ciavarella and many more.
She holds the position of a lecturer at the South Tyrolean music school Cesfor in Bozen, she teaches percussion at public schools, gives concerts, performs as a solo artist in dance schools, works together with handicapped people and collaborates with social institutions. As a journalist, she also writes articles for the well-known specialist magazine Ritmi.

Because the name stands for intelligent and high-quality products: The sounds are clean and full-bodied, the cajon features smoothly rounded edges and corners, the snares produce a sound similar to that of a drumset, and, last but not least, you can sit comfortably on the instrument.
