Tokhi

My name is Tokhi and I am a professional musician. I have been dealing with music and rhythm since my parents enrolled me at the age of six in an elementary school with a special focus on music education. Then, at the age of 18, I moved from my home town Teplice to the capital of the Czech Republic (Prague), where I settled and earned my living as a professional percussionist.

I have worked with many artists and have taken part in numerous music projects on stages at home and abroad likewise; among them are, for instance, the world-famous singer Karel Gott, Laura and her tigers, and many more. As a musician, I travel to many countries and continents.

Each month, I play a dozen shows and I also work as a studio musician and drum circle facilitator for Original Rhythm Team. Music is my passion.

Why Schlagwerk?

The best cajon I have ever played. I have been in love with these instruments since I saw some of them at my friend´s place in Germany some years ago. Really amazing in sound and design.
