Cajon Agile

Agilis is a Latin word meaning “easily moved”. The word “agile” has developed from this in many languages as a synonym for energy, ease and liveliness. A fitting name for Schlagwerk’s new cajon series. The technical core is formed by a removable element for creating an exceptionally fast and precisely responsive snare sound. This sensitive attack is produced in the base & dual models using snare wires. In the Super Agile models a flexible damping system combined with adjustable string tension ensures a very agile attack.

Agile Snare-Element 12 spirals for especially dynamic snaresound, removable. Body made of selected 8-layer birch for optimal sound projection and stability. Super Agile String-Element for adjustment of contact pressure and string tension with slider damping element for maximum customized sound (Super Agile models only). Schlagwerk felt feet with rubber coating for perfect absorption and anti-slip properties.
Anti-slip surface for comfortable and safe playing. Super Agile Cajons come incl. seat pad. Partially screwed playing surface for typical cajon snare sound with rich bass foundation. SC6 high-grade laminated playing surface extra thin and stable for wide dynamic and frequency range. Perfectly sanded and rounded body edges for optimal haptics and playing comfort.
