I learned to play drums self-taught at the age of 6 and played in a semi-professional dance band at the age of 12. At the age of 27 I discovered percussion for myself and with Schlagwerk. The first Schlagwerk instrument was of course the cajon and that is still my main instrument. With a hi-hat, cajon pedal, shaker, UDU and other small percussion instruments, I've put together a set that I usually take on the road. The Cajon La Peru Zebrano has the best sound for me, as I play a lot of blues, soul and funk. The other instruments that I play from Schlagwerk have also proved their worth so far. In addition, Schlagwerk offers very good support. I've been an endorser of Schlagwerk for more than 15 years now and haven't regretted it for a minute.
