The front is fixed with our own OS “Open sound and fully Screwed playing surface” method, typically for the Precise line.

Also, on the Precise line we have created a Deluxe version of the “regular” Evo. The front board is laminated with hand-picked one of a kind smoked Walnut veneer. This does not only support the gorgeous visual appearance but also adds more warmth and colour to the overall sound. As the Walnut adds some low end, the Bass tube distracts from the natural sound, therefore it does not come standard with that model.

It was about time for the first Schlagwerk Bodhran! Together with Bodhran experts, we have completely reinterpreted this versatile instrument. We combine the huge sound palette of standard drum heads with a clever, tool-free head change and tuning system to create a smart universal drum. The tuning stability of the heads, the comfortable handling and timeless design plus convincing sound make the Schlagwerk Bodhran NeoTrad a versatile percussion instrument. Manufactured to famous Schlagwerk perfection, the Bodhran is equipped with modified Fiberskyn head.

With our tunable Coast Drum, a regular playable frame drum is now available from Schlagwerk. The filling simulates the rolling of waves on the beach or the roaring surf on the coastal cliffs. The drum with a diameter of 50 cm, goatskin and mesh material is perfect for use in the therapeutic field, for sound baths, meditations or in classical frame drum play. The finely tuned mixture of glass and steel balls in between the natural skin and mesh material can also be adjusted in quantity by means of a side screw if necessary.

Schlagwerk Frame Drums natural stand for a completely pure, natural sound. They are available in different sizes with practical and useful features. The handselected goatskins can be tuned using tuning screws integrated within the frame, and allow the subtlest nuances of sound and tone volume.

The Bendir is an especially popular Frame Drum used in oriental music. The construction of the frame is similar to the Def, but a grip hole in the kettle and snare strings attached to the skin inside the drum make all the difference. The typical Bendir snare effect is created by the four strings.

Despite its compact size, the La Olá Drum combines the warmth of congas, a pinch of bongos and the rich sound of a cajon, offering a unique variety across the entire sound spectrum. The design is inspired by the Boombakini (Fellé Vega / Dominican Republic) and uses multiple resonance chambers and playing surfaces to produce sound.

The Skin Udu has an easily responding natural fish skin. According to the playing technique, the membrane is capable of producing a kaleidoscope of sounds ranging from deep vibrating basses to the Darabuka-related sounds. The combination of oriental drum sounds with soft, deep bass tones and body sounds creates unique and inspiring sound experiences.

Our Schlagwerk handpan with 8 tone fields is easy to play even for beginners without previous musical knowledge. The tuning specified in each case contains only matching tones. The series not only sounds soothing and relaxing, but also captivates everyone with its clear tonality and cathedral effect. For example, it is used as a percussion instrument but also for mediations and in therapy. The INTEGRAL tuning of HP8DI is a natural D-Minor Scale without the 4th (G).

There are many crashers on the market. Most of them feature several differently shaped and arranged metal sheets. They provide the drummer with hard, short, cutting crashing sounds. Our approach here is a little different. Our experience with the BuzzBoards led to the approach to make this exact sound system playable via sticks with a wider dynamic range. Thus, the DynaCrasher was developed with wooden panels with a snare carpet on a solid wood carrier. This design allows for quiet hand playing that instantly produces snare or sizzle sounds at low volumes. Still, there's penetrating crasher sounds when playing with sticks at high volumes, such as drum set groove arrangements. Two adjustment screws take care of the buzz/crash sustain setting. Even though it's wood, the surface material is extremely durable. We offer two versions for different applications. DC280 is the percussion version, which is fixed on a surface by Velcro (the number stands for the length in mm) DC280M is mountable via our woodblock mount, suitable for any standard percussion rod with 9-10mm diameter. A great addition to any percussion or drum setup.
