Tina Gronert

Tina Gronert focuses on rhythmic-musical work with people with disabilities. As a rhythm teacher, integrative sound teacher and, above all, community musician, she teaches basic skills and abilities on various percussion instruments. It is important to her to take all participants in the courses and workshops, with their different prerequisites and needs, seriously as music creators and to recognize and develop interests, passions and talents.

The field of community music - which is still very young in Germany - comes from the UK and enables all people to participate in cultural life and creativity through the basic principles of inclusion and musical participation. Everyone can make music! Community music is about active and creative music-making in groups, in which individual participants are consciously seen, encouraged and supported according to their existing needs and embedded in the group process. Community musicians, like Tina, see themselves as facilitators who support and guide the group musically.

In her rhythmic-musical work, it is very important to Tina to use instruments that have a good sound and a pleasant and natural feel in addition to their aesthetic and clearly defined appearance. This appeals to several senses at the same time. The percussion instruments she uses in the community music workshops, such as cajons, shorty shakers, claves or circle drums, combine all of this and can be adapted to the needs of the target group as far as possible. Sound instruments such as the Log Drum, Wah-Wah Tubes, the Coast Drum and the Infinity Rain Tower also enrich Tina's percussive range.
