I 've been using Schlagwerk instruments in a variety of ways for years. Live, in the studio, as solo percussion instruments or on the drum set. Whenever I need to integrate fresh organic sounds into my productions, I reach for these tools. The great thing about these instruments is their versatility. Whether purely percussive or melodic, you will find anything here. And the most important thing: the people behind all this are open to new ideas and simply great.

"An independent percussion effect and in connection with the Heck Stick, the Side Kick gives off an assertive click effect that is reminiscent of the sound of castanets or claves. Typically, the Side Kick is attached to one side of the Cajon and is played with the heel. One playing variation is to position the Side Kick in front of the player in order to play it similar to a BDPedal. To do so, we recommend combining it with a drum mat."
Like a side snare in a drum set, the Schlagwerk Buzz Boards allow you to integrate an additional sound option when playing the cajon.
